  • Yes, we are located in a church, but we are not affiliated with any religion. We are a secular school that strives to include everyone, no matter their religious background.

  • Art: Art Through Children’s Literature Creative Art Lessons for Caldecott Books. (We’ll combine literature time with art lessons where students explore various mediums and techniques to discover their inner artist)

    History: Notgrass Our 50 States. (While Notgrass is a faith-based curriculum, we will be supplementing as needed to maintain a secular approach to our exciting exploration of the 50 states)

    Science: Mystery Science by Discovery. (It is discover-based curriculum that uses engaging mysteries and hands on activities to teach scientific concepts)

  • We currently offer one day a week, Thursdays from 9am-2pm. We are hoping to expand to two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays as quick as we can! If you are interested in two days, please take this survey. The more students we have interested in two days the sooner we can offer that!

  • Schedule:

    9:00-9:15am Morning Arrival and Settling—Students arrive and get settled, morning routines, attendance taken, and Pledge of Allegiance in students first class of the day

    9:15-10:10am Block 1—K-1st History, 2nd-3rd Science, 4th-5th Art

    10:10-10:35am Morning Recess—Hand washing then snack and outdoor play

    10:35-11:30am Block 2—K-1st Science, 2nd-3rd Art, 4th-5th History

    11:30-12:15pm Lunch—Hand washing then students eat lunch and play outside

    12:!5-1:10pm Block 3—K-1st Art, 2nd-3rd History, 4th-5th Science

    1:10-1:45pm End of Day/Recess—Students have final outdoor play/wind-down time

    1:45-2:00pm Dismissal/Pickup—Students gather belongings, pickup begins at 1:45

  • We are currently taking grades K-5th and yes, we are an approved ESA vendor

  • We are a locked campus meaning that once school starts no one can enter the building without a key. We have quarterly fire/active shooter drills so our students and staff are prepared. We are located in the basement of the church with no windows and an emergency exit that remains locked at all times. All of our teachers and substitutes have active background checks as well. Any parent wanting to volunteer on a regular basis will also need a background check.
